We had the privilege of collaborating with our valued clients on a remarkable project that truly tested our expertise. This exquisite multi-storey residence located in Melbourne’s prestigious Eastern suburbs presented us with a series of technical challenges that we successfully overcame.

Our clients requested a combination of luxurious curtain sheers, drapes, motorised roller blinds and motorised plantation shutters that would embody elegance and sophistication. Additionally, they requested that all motorisation be controlled by their C-Bus home automation, which posed a unique challenge for our team.

One of our primary challenges was that the locations had only been wired for power and not for the C-Bus system. To address this, we implemented RTS (remote-controlled) motors in place of hard wiring to the home automation.

By utilizing a transmitter, we were able to facilitate communication between the motors and the C-Bus wall controls wirelessly, ultimately enabling seamless motorisation control. Furthermore, we supplied motorised plantation shutters in the master bedroom that operate on battery power, and we ingeniously incorporated solar panels hidden discreetly behind each panel to ensure uninterrupted functionality.
